About this role
Apply ambulance and emergency-dispatch expertise to help train AI systems for emergency response communications. This remote contract role focuses on protocol-driven triage, real-time resource coordination, and clear communication across urgent, multi-channel situations. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and triage emergency requests through radio, phone, and chat, using standardized protocols and checklists.
- Assess the urgency and nature of concurrent requests, then allocate resources appropriately in real time.
- Document inbound communications and dispatch decisions clearly and accurately.
- Route information and dispatch instructions to appropriate responders while following established operating procedures.
- Manage multiple inbound and outbound communication streams without compromising attention to detail.
- Contribute domain expertise to data-quality standards and evaluations of emergency communication protocols for AI training.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions that improve the realism and accuracy of AI emergency-communications simulations.
- Experience in ambulance or emergency dispatch operations, including incident triage and prioritization.
- Ability to remain composed and multitask effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills across radio, phone, and chat.
- Experience managing multiple communication channels simultaneously.
- Proficiency using standardized decision-making protocols and checklists.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
- Dispatcher or coordinator experience is highly valued; formal certification is not required.
- Remote contract engagement.
- $30 to $55 per hour.
