Role Overview
Apply your anatomy knowledge to annotate hand and finger landmarks in image and video data used to improve advanced AI systems. This remote independent contractor opportunity focuses on precise visual analysis, including complex hand poses, object interactions, and partially obscured anatomy. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Annotate hand and finger landmarks and keypoints using MediaPipe-style hand topology.
- Identify and mark the wrist, MCP, PIP, DIP, fingertips, and thumb-specific CMC, MCP, IP, and thumb-tip joints.
- Place landmarks precisely according to defined annotation protocols and tolerance thresholds.
- Infer and annotate joints and landmarks that are partially occluded or visually difficult to identify.
- Interpret varied hand poses, orientations, and viewpoints to produce consistent annotations across image and video data.
- Review visual feedback, identify deviations from requirements, and make targeted corrections to maintain quality at scale.
Qualifications
- Current student background in anatomy, medicine, physiotherapy, or a closely related discipline, with strong anatomy expertise.
- Strong attention to detail, visual reasoning, and image and video analysis skills.
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and quality-assurance guidelines consistently.
- Familiarity with annotation work and MediaPipe-style hand topology is relevant to the role.
