Role Overview
Apply doctoral-level expertise in child development and developmental psychology to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contract opportunity focuses on providing high-quality, real-world psychological input for AI research, including contributors with research or academic backgrounds, with or without direct clinical experience. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI training.
- Provide detailed feedback on the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance of data and model outputs.
- Develop expert analysis for scenarios, test cases, and real-world situations involving children''s learning and behavior.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to inform model improvements and support psychologically sound AI interactions.
- Create or refine guidance that helps AI systems address linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial dimensions of child development across diverse backgrounds.
- Document findings and recommendations clearly to support continuing AI research and development.
- PhD in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Strong expertise in child development and developmental psychology.
- Experience with technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused child-development projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently on digital platforms while collaborating with a distributed team.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is prioritized: Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, or Bulgarian.
- Remote, independent contractor engagement.
$100 to $300 per hour.
