Cybersecurity Professional for AI Evaluation

Role Overview

Design high-fidelity cybersecurity evaluation tasks for AI systems used in security operations, incident response, and risk management. Your work will reflect the threat sophistication, business risk, and operational scope of major enterprise security programs.

This opportunity supports two standards tracks: US, focused on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and SOC 2, and International, focused on ISO 27001 and the EU NIS2 Directive. Professionals qualified in either or both tracks are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Create cybersecurity scenarios covering security operations center monitoring, incident response and forensics, vulnerability management, and security architecture design.
• Develop tasks across threat detection, digital forensics, vulnerability and penetration testing, security architecture and engineering, and governance, risk, and compliance.
• Incorporate enterprise tools such as SIEM platforms including Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel, EDR tools including CrowdStrike, vulnerability scanners including Tenable and Qualys, and GRC platforms.
• Apply threat modeling, incident response playbooks, and risk assessment methods aligned to the applicable standards track.
• Produce reference incident reports, security assessments, architecture designs, and compliance documentation.
• Write rubrics that assess authentic senior-level security judgment rather than generic textbook or certification-exam recall.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a security engineer or CISO at a major company or security firm, such as Mandiant, CrowdStrike, or an in-house security leadership role.
• Direct ownership of incident response programs, security architecture, or compliance initiatives.
• Strong command of security tooling, regulatory frameworks, and the current threat landscape.
• CISSP, CISM, or an equivalent international credential is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience authoring rubrics or training materials is a plus.

• Remote, hourly engagement.
