Role Overview
Apply your engineering and data tooling expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contractor role focuses on evaluating tools, improving workflows, and delivering practical feedback across cloud infrastructure, developer productivity, data visualization, monitoring, and CI/CD environments. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the usability and effectiveness of engineering and data tools, including GitHub, Azure, Metabase, and JIRA.
- Create detailed documentation and feedback reports informed by real-world tool use and engineering best practices.
- Design, review, and test workflows that integrate cloud solutions such as AWS, Azure, and Firebase with developer productivity platforms such as Linear, Postman, and n8n.
- Analyze data visualization, monitoring, and CI/CD tools, including Tableau, Datadog, Sentry, and BrowserStack, to identify integration opportunities and process improvements.
- Develop use cases, technical guides, and process documentation for new features and data workflows.
- Work closely with project stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication, providing actionable technical recommendations and insights.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with engineering tools, developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Proficiency with a range of tools, including GitHub, Postman, AWS, Firebase, Azure, Datadog, Sentry, JIRA, Linear, n8n, Twilio, Databricks, Tableau, Metabase, and BrowserStack.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong technical clarity and accuracy.
- Bachelor''s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to turn complex technical feedback into actionable improvement proposals.
- Experience supporting both cloud or infrastructure and developer tooling domains is highly desirable.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable contributing independently in a remote environment.
