Role Overview
Build scalable, high-quality web experiences while contributing real-world frontend expertise to the training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on creating production-ready interfaces and helping improve how AI systems learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Apply frontend engineering best practices, including code reviews and continuous integration.
- Turn complex requirements into clean, efficient, reusable components.
- Communicate proactively in writing and verbally while supporting a strong remote team culture.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user satisfaction.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript experience, including hands-on work with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- A demonstrated record of delivering high-quality, production-ready web applications.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable code that follows industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with team goals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent user experiences.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex frontend issues.
- Preferred: experience building accessible, responsive web applications; working on distributed, remote-first engineering teams; and using agile methods and modern development workflows.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
Compensation
- $60 to $120 per hour.
