Role Overview
Apply your clinical expertise with military personnel and veterans to improve AI systems designed for mental health applications. This remote contract role centers on reviewing, developing, and refining clinically accurate content that reflects the distinct experiences and care needs of service members and veteran populations. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess mental health materials, case studies, and simulated patient interactions involving military and veteran populations.
- Provide detailed clinical feedback to improve AI understanding of diagnostic practices, therapeutic approaches, and mental health care standards.
- Create, edit, and curate prompts, responses, and scenarios based on real world challenges faced by military and veteran patients.
- Identify relevant terminology, cultural considerations, and communication approaches for effective mental health support.
- Join virtual discussions and consultative sessions to align on project goals and contribute clinical perspectives.
- Document findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities in a clear, structured format.
- Maintain high standards of clinical accuracy, relevance, and sensitivity in all contributions.
Qualifications
- Completed psychiatry residency as a medical doctor, or a completed PhD in psychology.
- Direct patient care experience with military personnel and/or veterans.
- Expertise in clinical psychology or psychiatry, military and veteran mental health, trauma and PTSD assessment, and therapeutic intervention.
- Strong familiarity with trauma, PTSD, traumatic brain injury, adjustment disorders, and other conditions prevalent among service members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex clinical concepts to varied audiences.
- Experience developing or reviewing clinical content, training materials, or assessment tools.
- Strong attention to detail, cultural competence, clinical accuracy, adaptability, and interest in technology driven mental health work.
Work Terms
- Remote contract engagement.
- Contributions may include virtual discussions and consultative sessions.
Compensation
- $100 to $300 per hour.
