Data Visualization Analyst for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply your chart interpretation and quantitative reasoning expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. You will turn real-world, domain-specific visual data into clear, rigorous analytical tasks that improve how models reason, calculate, compare information, and explain conclusions.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze domain-specific charts, graphs, and data visualizations accurately, using precise terminology.
• Create clear, unambiguous questions based on information-rich charts that require multi-step quantitative reasoning.
• Develop objectively answerable tasks involving detailed reasoning, calculations, comparisons, and trend analysis.
• Provide accurate answers with step-by-step explanations of reasoning and calculations.
• Use correct chart terminology, units, axes, scales, legends, confidence intervals, and time periods in tasks and solutions.
• Ensure tasks are objective, clear, and free of unsupported conclusions or unnecessary complexity.
• Collaborate remotely with coordinators and reviewers through strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field, such as medicine, finance, engineering, earth science, data science, operations, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of professional, academic, or research experience working with domain-relevant charts or quantitative data.
• Strong chart interpretation accuracy, multi-step quantitative reasoning, question design, unambiguous task construction, and domain-specific terminology precision.
• Ability to select and interpret complex charts, including visualizations with multiple data series, annotations, or statistical features.
• Experience writing technical assessments, benchmark questions, or structured analytical tasks for learning, analytics, or evaluation purposes.
• Ability to write objectively answerable questions and clearly communicate calculations in English.
• Experience collaborating remotely and asynchronously with cross-functional technical or research teams.
• An advanced degree, professional credential, or substantial industry specialization is highly desirable.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.
• No prior AI experience is required.
• Professionals from medicine and biostatistics, finance and economics, engineering and physics, earth sciences and GIS, data science and statistics, and operations and manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

• $25 to $50 per hour.
