IT Support Specialist

Apply hands-on IT support expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world technical input. This remote contract role focuses on translating practical troubleshooting knowledge into detailed scenarios, feedback, and documentation that help AI systems learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Use TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN knowledge to address connectivity, configuration, and networking incidents.
• Document incident details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions clearly in ITSM or similar ticket-management systems.
• Provide non-technical users with clear, empathetic, step-by-step technical guidance.
• Create detailed scenario-based examples, process documentation, and knowledge-base content that reflect IT support best practices.
• Ensure feedback and technical input are thoroughly documented for AI training and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate asynchronously in a remote setting and deliver high-quality written and verbal feedback.

• At least 3 years of Tier 2 or Tier 3 IT support experience across varied operating system and network environments.
• Strong hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting skills, including root-cause analysis.
• Experience supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.
• Proficiency documenting incidents and resolutions in ITSM or comparable ticketing platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when assisting non-technical end users.
• Experience developing technical process documentation and knowledge bases.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach and comfort working independently in a remote engagement.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and ITIL Foundation certifications are advantageous.

• $30 to $55 per hour.
