Role Overview
Apply your M&A experience to help train and evaluate advanced AI systems for real-world legal work. This part-time, remote contract role focuses on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining in the technology sector, helping improve how AI identifies risk, interprets agreement language, and produces precise legal analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review and assess AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves accuracy and precision.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI contract tasks.
- Partner with product and research teams to refine data, guidance, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.
- Help shape the development and evaluation of legal AI tools for legal practitioners.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
- Knowledge of standard M&A agreements, including asset purchase agreements and stock purchase agreements.
- Experience with M&A, contract negotiation, and contract redlining.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical ability.
- Ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
- Prior exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
- Experience working with private equity firms.
- Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.
$80 to $105 per hour.
