Transactional Attorney for Legal AI Training

Apply your technology transactions expertise to improve how advanced AI systems interpret, assess, and negotiate commercial contracts. In this part-time remote contractor role, you will contribute legal judgment to AI training and evaluation workflows, with a focus on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining.

• Perform simulated contract negotiations and contract redlining exercises.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to contract scenarios, providing expert feedback that improves precision and performance.
• Develop objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
• Partner with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-supported contract review.
• Help improve AI systems'' ability to identify contractual risk and interpret legal language in practical legal workflows.

• At least 3 years of in-house experience in technology transactions.
• Experience negotiating master services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and data processing agreements.
• Strong contract drafting, review, negotiation, and redlining skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical judgment, and attention to detail.
• Ability to translate legal expertise into clear, actionable feedback for AI systems.
• Commitment to innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

• Exposure to AI, legal technology, or training initiatives.
• Corporate law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions or private equity fund formation.

• Remote, part-time independent contractor engagement.

$90 to $130 per hour.
